Feix&Merlin were commissioned to design the interior of a new patisserie in southwest London, along with a brand identity to match.
As the business was going to focus on the sale of traditional French patisserie items, in particular macaroons, the idea was to limit both the interior and the branding design to a relatively simple colour palette, leaving the product itself to add the colourful accents.
The logo was inspired loosely by the client’s love for mandalas, a ritual symbol in Buddhism and Hinduism representing the Universe. The logo and parts of it found their way into all other elements of the brand family. From the packaging design, to business cards, menus and all related stationery.
