Feix&Merlin have completed a charming seven bedroom townhouse hotel, in Marylebone London with Russell Sage Studio.
The Grade II listed building at No.24 Upper Berkeley Street was once owned by Jane Austen’s brother, Henry.
The design team has been a collaboration between owners Jane and Steven Collins and the award winning Russell Sage Studio, assisted by Feix&Merlin Architects.
The works involved extensive external and internal refurbishment and extensions, and the project features some outstanding architectural detailing and specialist joinery, including jib doors, secret doors, within the elegant wall panelling discreetly concealing entrances to hidden rooms.
