“We are thrilled to have been provided with this wonderful opportunity. The project has been centred around collaboration and we are extremely thankful for all the invaluable input that Southwark Council, Historic England, the community, and of course our team, have provided. We very much look forward to begin the next chapter of our journey to bring back these iconic landmarks into use as a vibrant creative workspace, educational, and community hub.”
Frederic Schwass, Development Principal at General Projects
“We are absolutely delighted to have won planning approval for this scheme. Over the past few months we have established a positive and collaborative approach between our client General Projects, Southwark, Historic England, and of course the consultant team, and we wanted to say thank you to everyone involved. Walworth Town Hall is such an important building for the local community, and we look forward to bringing it back to life, both reviving the stunning heritage features, as well as introducing some exciting new interventions. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back into the building once again.”
