Bohemia Place

Feix&Merlin were commissioned to provide overall Masterplan Feasibility for a run of 20 disused arches in Hackney to be re-invented as a new Commercial Workspace hub – a new mixed use, community-led regeneration project.

The proposals include retail and employment space, together with the implementation of a series of public realm enhancements, as well as food and beverage opportunities for local traders and market stalls.

The overall objective is to regenerate and optimise the potential of these arches, carefully considering their local context in Hackney, creating new linkages and connections across and through the site, as well as significantly improving the public realm and amenity space for the local community.

We worked collaboratively with the client, local institutions and community groups, retail and workspace providers, and approvals with Local Authority, Network Rail, Transport for London, TfL, Arriva UK Bus Garage.
